The Grand Opening of the First WTEF Contest Occurred

On August 8,A.M.8:00， the First WTEF contest was opening at the Hebei Tangshan Muti-Function Gym. 816 athletes from all around the World came to Tangshan，and on the same stage they learned and discussed skills with each other.

This contest was sponsored by the World Taekwondo Education Federation and the Tangshan Taekwondo Association and hosted by the Tangshan Canglong Taekwondo Chain Co., Ltd. The WTEF’s president Mr. Zhen Weili，the honorary president Mr. Li Lizhong，the vice president and the president of the China Taekwondo Taishanbeidou Association Mr. Lichao，the Zambian National team’s coach of Taekwondo Mr. DAVID MBUKWA and other friends were all attending the opening ceremony of it. The president of the American Sports University Dr. Harry Hyung Gyu Hwang and the Taekwondo Cangming Institute’s president Dr. Kim Ki Dong had sent congratulatory messages to wish the contest a success.

This contest consisted of three events and four different groups. The detailed grouping and rich athletic content rich enabled each contestant to fully participate in the competitive process. With the justice, rigorous, scientific and practical international contest pattern, the status of WTEF in the world’s Taekwondo education and an indispensable role in the industry have been laid.

Not only had the days of contest had the participants fully experience international competition atmosphere，but also did constantly in the process of the contest raise their own competitive levels，as well as find and make up the defects of their own technology and insufficient, paving the way for their future life of Taekwondo.

As a worldwide Taekwondo education popularizing organization，the future WTEF will also be more active as a main international character of Taekwondo popularization and have more Taekwondo enthusiasts experience the charm of the sport.
